April Photos 2013 Rainfall for the month - 1.1 inches
Tugs and barges always coming and going.
My View Point
I have two spots to sit and watch the Strait of Georgia. Both are about 150 to 160 feet above the water.
For scale, see the large rock in the water at the left. At lowest tide the water exposes the base of the rock and then it measures about 18 feet tall.
Strait of Georgia
In the middle, the Howard Point, of Hanson Marine, is towing their working platform barge.
Farther out, tug, Jervis Titan, is towing a log boom, may be to Port Mellon.
I missed the the tug towing the boom in the foreground. That boom had 20-30 sea lions taking a free ride.
